Lounjy on your device
Installing, loading your playlist and the controls. Pick your device.
Windows
Install
- Download the installer from the download page, or install Lounjy from the Microsoft Store.
- Open the file and follow the steps. You don’t need administrator rights.
- Lounjy starts by itself. After that you’ll find it in the Start menu.
Load your playlist
- Choose Load playlist.
- Choose Xtream Codes and enter the server, your username and your password. Or choose M3U playlist and paste the link or pick the file on your PC.
- If you were given a separate TV guide link (XMLTV), enter that too. With Xtream Codes, Lounjy usually fetches the guide by itself.
- Lounjy loads everything and shows how far along it is. Then you’ll see your channels.

Everything works with the mouse, and just as well with only the keyboard.

| ← | Open the channel list |

| Space | Pause and resume |

Android phone and tablet
Install
- Open Google Play and search for Lounjy, or use the button on the download page.
- Tap Install and open the app.
Load your playlist
Tap Load playlist and choose Xtream Codes or M3U playlist, just like on Windows. Pick an M3U file from your downloads or another folder.
Controls
- Tap a channel to watch it.
- While watching, tap the picture for the buttons: pause, P− and P+ to change channels, the previous channel and the channel list.
- At the bottom of the screen you switch between Home, Live TV, Films, Series and Search.
- Your phone’s back button or gesture closes an open panel first, then goes back one step.
Android TV
Install from Google Play
- Open Google Play on your TV and search for Lounjy.
- Choose Install. Lounjy then appears among your apps on the home screen.
Install separately with Downloader
For TV devices without Google Play.
- Install the Downloader app from your TV’s app store.
- Allow Downloader to install apps. This is usually under Settings → Apps → Special app access → Install unknown apps.
- Open Downloader and enter the code shown on the download page at launch.
- Downloader fetches Lounjy. Choose Install.
Load your playlist
Choose Load playlist and then With your phone. That way you don’t have to type anything with the remote. See below for how it works.
Remote control
| Button | What it does |
|---|---|
| OK | Select; while watching, show the controls |
| ↑ ↓ or CH+ CH− | While watching: next or previous channel |
| ← | While watching: open the channel list |
| 0–9 | Go to a channel number |
| ▶❚❚ | Pause and resume |
| Back | Close a panel or go back one step. On Home, Lounjy first asks whether you want to close the app. |
| Shortcuts, such as favourite, recent, edit and search in the channel list. The bar at the bottom of the screen always shows what they do. |
When you watch a film or series, it also shows up under Continue watching on your TV’s home screen. If your TV supports it, Lounjy matches the refresh rate to the video so motion stays smooth.
Set up from your phone
Handy on a TV, but it works on the PC too.
- Make sure your phone and your TV are on the same Wi-Fi network.
- In Lounjy, choose Load playlist and then With your phone. A QR code appears, with a six-digit code.
- Scan the QR code with your phone’s camera, or type the address below it into your browser.
- On your phone, enter your Xtream Codes details or your M3U link and send them.
- Lounjy on the TV takes over the details and starts loading.
Your details go straight from your phone to your TV, inside your own network. They don’t go over the internet or through us. The code works once and expires after ten minutes.
